A Day of Joy in West Dallas

On a sunny Saturday, August 2nd, 2025, the Jaycee Zaragoza Recreation Center in West Dallas, Texas, was buzzing with excitement. The 5th annual Back to School Bash by Faith RESTORE, a non-profit organization founded by Abraham and Jenna Espinoza, was in full swing. This event was a beacon of hope for over 500 students residing in one of the most disadvantaged communities in West Dallas.

As the doors opened at 11 am, a wave of enthusiasm swept through the crowded recreation center. Volunteers from various local businesses and organizations were on hand to provide an array of services, including haircuts, manicures, food, giveaways, and music. Nuestro Campeon, Javier Perez, a critical injury law attorney, was among the dedicated volunteers who lent their support to the event. The atmosphere was electric, filled with the chatter of students and the sound of music.

The highlight of the event was the distribution of clear backpacks filled with essential school supplies. Each student walked away with a backpack, ready to tackle the new school year 2025 with confidence and enthusiasm. Abraham and Jenna Espinoza, the founders of Faith RESTORE, beamed with pride as they saw the impact of their efforts. From humble beginnings in their backyard in 2021, the Back to School Bash had grown exponentially, now attracting hundreds of students and volunteers.

As the event ended at 2 pm, Abraham and Jenna Espinoza expressed their heartfelt gratitude to all the volunteers, businesses, and supporters, including Nuestro Campeon, Javier Perez, critical injury attorney, who made this day possible. “We are overwhelmed with gratitude,” said Jenna Espinoza. “All glory to God for opening doors and allowing us to serve our community in such a big way.”  The Espinozas’ commitment to serving their community was evident in the joy and smiles of the students who benefited from the event.

The 5th annual Back to School Bash was more than just an event; it was a testament to the power of community and the impact that dedicated individuals and organizations can have on the lives of young people. As the students returned to their homes, backpacks in hand, they were ready to face the new school year with renewed hope and enthusiasm, thanks to the tireless efforts of Faith RESTORE and its supporters.
